Festival of Words
The Festival of Words will be held at Woodbridge High School on Saturday, April 5th from 8am-3pm. Since 2000, the Festival of Words Delaware has been a FREE annual event for elementary & secondary students, teachers, parents, and librarians. The event was developed to encourage a love of reading and writing by introducing young adults to diverse authors and ideas. "Swing into Spring" Vendor & Craft Show
Join us for our "Swing into Spring" Vendor & Craft Show on Saturday, April 12th from 9am-1pm. We will have over 20 local vendors with decor, household, personalized, crafty items and so much more. There will also be a food truck, basket raffle tickets, the Friends of the Bridgeville Library's bake sale, a book sale, and free lemonade! At this time, our vendor list is FULL!

Easter Egg Hunt
The Woodbridge Little League, The Town of Bridgeville, and The Bridgeville Public Library are sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 13th at 2pm in the WLL Bridgeville fields. All About Inflatables will be there from 2-4 as well as Vanderwendes Ice Cream (both will have a cost) We hope to see you there!

Community Bridge to Wellness
Throughout the year, join the Bridgeville Library for our wellness journey-promoting mental and physical health by providing many different programs for everyone. All programs are FREE and all are welcome! Chair Fitness Classes have been extended through June on Mondays @ 9:30am! Yoga classes with Bonnie are on Wednesdays @ 6pm through May. Children's Programs
Join Ms. Hilary for Story Book Corner on Tuesdays at the library at 10am (for ages 3-5). On Wednesdays, it is at 9am for birth-2 years old. Bring your child to the library on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month @11am to read to the L.E.A.P. dogs. Thursday, April 10th at 11am the Library Learners League will have for an Introduction to Economics & Marketing.

Family Programs
If you haven't registered already for the Community Bridge to Wellness, visit the library to receive a free health journal and an insulated tote bag. Our self-led walking groups are starting Wednesday, April 23rd. Meet in the parking lot and walk the Hometown trail. Family Fun Night "Bunnies & Baskets" is on Thursday, April 17th from 6-8pm. Registration is required.

The Bridgeville Senior Center has Dance Classes on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month @ 11am through May. They are geared for the 55+ age group. Yoga Class with Bonnie (Ananda Yoga) on Wednesdays, through May @ 6pm. The online link is in MORE INFO. Mahjong for adults and open to teens 14+, held on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month, from 3:30-5:30pm. Registration is requested. Dr. Michelle Hammond's therapeutic session: Let's Talk Stress on Friday, April 4th @ 6pm. It's free and open to the public. Anti-Stigma Training on Tuesday, April 15th at 2pm and Tuesday, April 22nd at 2pm. These sessions are run by HelpIs HereDE to help you be there for those struggling with mental health or substance use disorder. Register with them @ HelpIsHereDE.Com/Training. Emerging adults craft night (ages 18-35) on Monday, April 21st from 5:30-7pm. Craft and make a beautiful floral book art! Registration is required. Stephanie Verni's Author Talk on Friday, April 25th at 3:30pm will share her experiences with storytelling, novel writing, and publishing. This event is free and open to the public.

Tween/Teen Programs
“STEAM Team Showcase” (ages 10-17), on Wednesday, April 23rd at 1:30pm or 3pm. Engage in science-driven activities that are fun and educational. In April, you will learn the basics of Coding using the coding program PYTHON. Anime Club on Thursday, April 24th from 4pm-5pm. You will watch anime together, vote on what to watch next, dive into the stories, discuss characters, plot twists, and everything in between. Interactive Book Club on Wednesday, April 30th @3:30pm for ages 8-14. This month's book is "Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library". "My Life Basically"-for Middle School-Personal Care on Thursday, April 10th at 4pm. "My Life Basically" (for MS ages) on Wednesday, April 16th @ 3:30pm is on Mindfulness. Registration is required. FREE Gaming on Saturday, May 3rd from 10am-2pm. Play your favorite video games.
