Community Bridge to Wellness
Throughout the year, join the Bridgeville Library for our wellness journey-promoting mental and physical health by providing many different programs for everyone. All programs are FREE and all are welcome! Please check the flyers for details. Community Health Worker- Please call the library for availability. The Delaware Division of Health and Social Services will be here with the FREE Mobile Health Care Clinic with available vaccines and health information from 10am-3pm on Tuesday, December 9th in the parking lot. No appointment needed. Insurance accepted but not necessary. For more information: call 302-283-7190. Delaware Health and Social Services will have a representative from the Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health at the library from 10am-12pm on Thursday, November 20th. They will have Narcan and wound care kits to distribute, along with information and giveaways. PACE Your Life will host a BINGO on Tuesday, November 25th at 3pm. Yoga with Bonnie (Ananda Yoga) on Wednesdays @ 6pm from October 8th through December 10th. A fun cardio drumming class hosted by PACE Your Life "Drums Alive" will be held on the 1st AND 2nd Monday of each month @ 2pm. Join us on Thursday, December 18th from 6-8pm as we celebrate YOUR success with our Community Bridge to Wellness program. We will pull the winning tickets, enjoy a light healthy meal, and share our future programming. Registration is required.

Habitat for Humanity Monday Morning Meetup
Habitat for Humanity is looking for volunteers!! They will have a "Monday Morning Meetup" on Monday, November 24th at 10am at the Bridgeville Library. On the agenda is a discussion of building in Sussex County and volunteer opportunities. Children's Coat Giveaway
The Children's Winter Coat Giveaway sponsored by "Operation Warm-more than a coat" will be held on Saturday, November 22nd @ 10am at the library. Children sizes available on a first-come, first-served basis are: 5/6, 7/8, 10/12, and 14/16. All children must be present with an adult. We will have grab n' go bags and snacks. This is coordinated by the Delaware Libraries.

Family Programs
Join Ms. Hilary with your family for snacks and crafts on Thursday, November 20th @ 6pm for Family Fun Night "A Gratitude Gathering". We’re asking all attendees to donate non-perishable food items to help our community members in need. (canned vegetables, fruits, soups, beans, pasta, or rice). Registration is required. If registering online, please put the number of attendees in the NOTES REGISTRATION FORM. Join us for Snacks with Santa on Thursday, December 11th. We have 2 sessions to choose from: 10am-12pm OR 6-8pm. There will be snacks, crafts, and a photo op with Santa. The Delaware Ballet will perform a short version of the Nutcracker Ballet from 5:30-6pm in our meeting room. Registration is required for the Snacks with Santa sessions. If signing up online, please state the number of people attending in the NOTES REGISTRATION FORM.

Children's Programs
Bring your child to the library on the fourth Tuesday of this month @11am to read to the L.E.A.P. dog, Oliver. On Tuesday, November 25th, we are going to have a new L.E.A.P. dog joining Oliver, she is a yellow lab named Penny. We are excited to invite Ms. Taylor to our library for "Feelings Rock", a 30 minute social-emotional music and movement class for children newborn to 5 years and their caregivers. She will be helping kids move, learn, and grow every month @ 9am in November (see flyer for dates). Join Ms. Hilary on Tuesdays @ 10am for stories, songs, and rhymes about Turkeys and Being Thankful in November. Story Book Corner for "Little Acorns" will be held on Wednesdays @ 9am in the library. Enjoy dancing, swaying, or just observing at this time of movement, rhythm, and fun. Ms. Hilary will model some songs, rhymes, finger plays, and bounces to use at home. This will stimulate early learning to foster early literacy skills and develop a lifelong love of books. Reading to baby can support their social and emotional development. Open to all ages!

Adult Programs
Yoga with Bonnie (Ananda Yoga) will be held on Wednesdays @ 6pm through December 10th. Every 2nd and 3rd Friday in November and December from 3-5pm you can play Mahjong. We are looking for beginners to experienced players to learn or play the game of Mahjong. We will have 2 boards available or you may bring your own board/racks and cards/tiles to play, if you wish. Registration is required. PACE Your Life is hosting a BINGO on Tuesday, November 25th @ 3pm. Drums Alive with PACE Your Life will be held on the first and second Mondays of the month (December 1st and 8th) @ 2pm. --Sorry--Adult Craft Night is FULL!! Join us on Tuesday, December 2nd for Adult Craft Night to make a button craft in a small frame OR on a wooden plaque. We will provide various buttons and embellishments. Some examples are shown on the flyer. Registration is required. Join us on Saturday, December 13th from 11am-1pm as we discuss a murder mystery selection from Denmark “The Boy in the Suitcase” by Lene Kaaberbol & Agnete Friis. Several copies are on reserve in the library and it is available on the Libby app.Participants can volunteer to bring a potluck item. Before the event, you will be contacted if you are bringing an hors d'oeuvre, a side dish, or a dessert. Registration is required. Join us with Caitlin on Wednesday, December 17th. Choose either 1pm or 5 pm session. You will use UV resin, which cures within minutes, to learn how to make a bookmark OR a Christmas ornament to take home that day. All materials will be provided. Some examples are shown on the flyer. Registration is required and limited to 10 participants. *Disclaimer- Please be aware! All resins have an odorless gas that some individuals may be sensitive to. Masks will be provided for protection.

Tween/Teen Programs
We are forming a new club of young artists (tweens and teens) that would like to meet with other artists and share their works of art, possibly leading to learning new skills and crafts. Join Ms. Hilary for this new "get together" on Wednesday, November 19th at 2pm. Bring a friend and your creations to the library. Registration is preferred. Join Ms. Miranda for a fun interactive Book Club on Tuesday, November 25th at 3:30pm. This month's book is "The Girl Who Drank the Moon" by Kelly Barnhill. Several copies of the book are reserved at the library. It is also available on the Hoopla and Libby Apps. Registration is preferred. For ages 10 and up - join us with our Tech Volunteer, Keith on Thursday, December 11th to learn about circuit boards and how to solder. We have 2 sessions to choose from -*1pm OR 3pm. You will make this custom tree shaped PCB with buzzer Christmas music and blinking LEDs. Registration is required. Please call 302-337-7401 ext. 101. You may sign-up online for the 3pm session. Space is limited! *There is only one spot open in the 1pm session. Please call for the last spot. Play all your favorite games on all your favorite consoles and make friends with Small Town Gaming on Saturday, December 6th from 10am-2pm for FREE Play Day. A free lunch is provided.

Do you need a flu shot? Or a Covid-19 Test? Want to get the latest Covid-19 vaccination? Need HIV Testing, counseling and referral? Or just need some important health information? You can get all of these at the Delaware Health and Social Services Health2Go Mobile Health Unit in the parking lot on Tuesday, December 9th from 10am-3pm. No appointment needed.
