Community Bridge to Wellness
Our Community Bridge to Wellness program is almost over but we are still offering yoga sessions, online yoga, a “Drums Alive” class, a certified community health worker for counseling, the Health2Go Mobile Unit visits, and a “Library of Things” (exercise equipment to check out). The last day to participate in the program is Wednesday, December 10th. See flyers for details. We will celebrate your success on Thursday, December 18th at the “Let’s Celebrate” event from 6-8pm at the library. We will pull the winning tickets then and enjoy a light healthy meal. Please register for this event by calling the library. These programs are supported by grants from Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, the Carl M. Freeman Foundation, Sussex County Libraries and Sussex County Health Coalition.

Family Programs
Join us for Snacks with Santa on Thursday, December 11th. We have 2 sessions to choose from: 10am-12pm OR 6-8pm. There will be snacks, crafts, and a photo op with Santa. The Delaware Ballet will perform a short version of the Nutcracker Ballet from 5:30-6pm in our meeting room. Registration is required for the Snacks with Santa sessions. If signing up online, please state the number of people attending in the NOTES REGISTRATION FORM.

Children's Programs
Bring your child to the library on the second Tuesday of this month @11am to read to the L.E.A.P. dogs, Oliver and Penny. Join Ms. Hilary on Tuesdays @ 10am for stories, songs, and rhymes about Winter in December and January. "Little Acorns" Music & Movement will be held on Wednesdays @ 9am in the library. Enjoy dancing, swaying, or just observing at this time of movement, rhythm, and fun. Ms. Hilary will model some songs, rhymes, finger plays, and bounces to use at home. This will stimulate early learning to foster early literacy skills and develop a lifelong love of books. Reading to baby can support their social and emotional development.

Adult Programs
Yoga with Bonnie (Ananda Yoga) will be held on Wednesdays @ 6pm through December 10th. Every 2nd and 3rd Friday in December from 3-5pm you can play Mahjong for beginners to experienced players to learn or play the game of Mahjong. We will have 2 boards available or you may bring your own board/racks and cards/tiles to play, if you wish. Registration is required. PACE Your Life is hosting a BINGO on Tuesday, December 9th @ 3pm. Drums Alive with PACE Your Life will be held on the first and second Mondays of the month (December 1st and 8th) @ 2pm. --Sorry--Adult Craft Night is FULL!! Join us on Tuesday, December 2nd for Adult Craft Night to make a button craft in a small frame OR on a wooden plaque. Join us on Saturday, December 13th from 11am-1pm as we discuss a murder mystery selection from Denmark “The Boy in the Suitcase” by Lene Kaaberbol & Agnete Friis. Several copies are on reserve in the library and it is available on the Libby app. Participants can volunteer to bring a potluck item. Before the event, you will be contacted if you are bringing an hors d'oeuvre, a side dish, or a dessert. Registration is required. ---The UV Resin sessions are FULL---Join us with Caitlin on Wednesday, December 17th. You will use UV resin to learn how to make a bookmark OR a Christmas ornament to take home that day.

Tween/Teen Programs
We have formed a new club of young artists (tweens and teens) that would like to meet with other artists and share their works of art, possibly leading to learning new skills and crafts. Join Ms. Hilary for this new "get together" on Tuesday, December 16th at 2pm. Bring a friend and your creations to the library. Registration is preferred. Join Ms. Miranda for a fun interactive Book Club on Wednesday, December 17th at 3:30pm. Share your favorite (or least favorite) book and be a Book Critic! Each member will choose one book they've read recently (or in the past) and prepare a short "pitch" for the group. Bring the book, OR a picture of the book, OR the book's title and author written down. Make a 2-3 minute presentation to tell the group about your book. Registration is preferred. Join Ms. Hilary for The Anime Club on Thursday, December 18th @ 4pm. Bring some friends and enjoy watching Anime and choosing your favorites. ---The Soldering classes are FULL---For ages 10 and up - join us with our Tech Volunteer, Keith on Thursday, December 11th to learn about circuit boards and how to solder. Play all your favorite games on all your favorite consoles and make friends with Small Town Gaming on Saturday, December 6th from 10am-2pm for FREE Play Day. A free lunch is provided.

Mobile Health2GO Unit
Do you need a flu shot? Or a Covid-19 Test? Want to get the latest Covid-19 vaccination? Need HIV Testing, counseling and referral? Or just need some important health information? You can get all of these at the Delaware Health and Social Services Health2Go Mobile Health Unit in the parking lot on Tuesday, December 9th from 10am-3pm. No appointment needed. Insurance accepted but not necessary. A representative from the Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health will be in the library on Tuesday, December 2nd and Tuesday, December 16th from 10am-12pm. They will have Narcan and wound care kits to distribute, along with information and giveaways.
